On Saturday we attended the San Francisco Charity Fashion show at Fort Mason. Despite running late (fashionably late of course), we arrived just in time to grab our seats prior to the start of the show. The event showcased a range of collections from well known designers like Tracy Reese and Winter Kate, to aspiring fashion design students. Best of all, proceeds from the event went to a wonderful charity known as the Princess Project. Since it was founded in 2002, the Princess Project has been providing free prom dresses and accessories to high school girls who cannot afford them otherwise. Such a great way to give girls the prom they deserve!
We also got to meet one of our favorite style bloggers, Anh from 9to5Chic. She was so adorable and had on an amazing color-blocking outfit! She sums up San Francisco style! (Unfortunately we all look a bit like ghosts in this picture)
Nice striped skirt! I love a lot!

I can’t even decide which I prefer! I’m so happy to see that there are indeed, girls with sense of style out there! Keep on amazing us 🙂

What an awesome charity – I have always wanted to put my sewing skills to something like this! My hub teaches grade 8 and the pressure is huge for these girls to graduate in luxe even at that age.
I have vowed to teach his class next year how to sew their one-of-a-kind dresses. I just don’t have time this year.
Great blog!
Looks like a great event. It’s been ages since I’ve been to a catwalk show. I love the atmosphere and the anticipation with every outfit.
