Whit’s Ab Workout Routine

I have been making self-care more of a priority in my life and with that comes being active and working out. I recently shared my 6 tips to start working out – as previously the gym and I were not friends. I have really embraced incorporating working out into my daily routine and I am seeing the results. I have gotten quite a few request on Instagram to share my workout for my ab routine. I always recommend starting off your workout with stretching to ensure you are loose and limber before you begin any exercises. I am wearing Alala fire red leggings and Nike top, sports bra and shoes.

Here are two core ab workouts that have really helped tone my tummy:

 

1. Plank with Hip Drop

1. Start in plank position

2. Keep your core tight and touch your hip to the floor

3. Rise back up to the plank position and twist hip to the other side

15 Reps

 

2. Medicine Ball Crunches

1. Lay on your back with the ball in your hands and arms stretched upwards

2. Lift your legs to a 45-degree angle and as you raise up from the floor with the medicine balls draw your legs up at a 90-degree angle to meet the ball

3. Lowers back down to the floor with the ball extended in your arms and legs back to the 45-degree angle

15 Reps
