Tropical Orange Mini-Dress

Tropical Orange Mini-Dress

Orange is a hard color to wear. I use to always put it in the Halloween category. But this orange dress by Ramy Brook, a New York-based women’s brand is completely changing my mind! I originally shared this orange dress on my insta-stories, along with a top that I had gotten. I asked my #instatribe which look they liked best and 70% said the top! (Side-Note: come be a part of my #instatribe on Instagram!) I do love the top, but this dress has me dreaming of tropical nights. I am headed to Hawaii for Labor Day Weekend. I can’t wait to wear this in Maui!

One of my favorite parts about the dress is the corset style tie at the front. Its such a fresh take on a fun waist detail. I am wearing a size S in the dress. This brand is fun and playful but really reflects a sophisticated silhouette. I love the tagline of this brand:  “designed for a woman by a woman”. There is nothing I love more than supporting women-founded businesses. I feel like while there are amazing male designers – female designers get the female form in a unique way.  So now it’s official – I totally have a thing for orange dresses. It started with this gorgeous ballgown dress and has evolved into this fun tropical mini dress!

Ps. I will be sharing the top from Ramy Brook next week – so be sure to check back!
