One of my favorite ways of finding new inspiration for my style is looking at a different era in fashion! The 1960’s, in particular, is one of my favorite time periods. I love the mod style, and style icons like Jacqueline Kennedy, Brigette Bardot, and of course Audrey Hepburn. I love watching old movies like How to Steal a Million and Breakfast At Tiffany’s. One style theme I noticed in both movies was the dramatic retro sunnies! This picture of Audrey Hepburn is one of my favorites. These white retro sunnies from Kate Spade totally help me get into that era.

If you are a regular reader on Whit Wander’s you know I have a slight obsession with polka dots: here, here and here. We can officially add these pants to the mix. I found these polka dot pants at the Banana Republic. These are the Sloan cut pant style. I like this cut so much in yellow that I went back for the polka dots! I also tried their Avery cut which I got in a fun linen pant style. I added a white off-the-shoulder top from Revolve and my white Frye sneakers to finish the look. I am currently gearing up for the Nordstrom Sale that kicks-off on July 12th! I have been scoping out some of my favorite pieces from the Sale. I will be sharing more on Wednesday! I hope you have a great start to your week!
