Happy Friday! Can you believe that we are at the end of May?
This has literally been my go-to outfit style during all my moving and unpacking all my things that did not go into storage after being laid off due to COVID-19.
This is a very work from home casual fashion look for me, but the true reality of what I have been wearing in quarantine life. These leggings are super comfy and are by Zella! Can anyone spot the enormous bruise I got from all my packing and moving?

My sweatshirt is by WildFox Couture. As soon as I saw my sweatshirt I knew it would be perfect for me! If you know me, you know I am totally ignorant about sports of any kind. So this was an ironic purchase.
Friday Thoughts:
I have quite a few Friday thoughts to share with you before we go into the weekend. There is some good and some bad.
First the good:
J.K. Rowlings has a new Fairytale out to help entertain you and your little ones at home. They will publish new installments each week! So add this to your list of things-to-do when you are in quarantine.

Minnesota / George Floyd
Protests have erupted across the country as people gather in a call for justice over the death of George Floyd, a black man. Floyd died after police kneeled on his neck for about 8 min, as he pleaded: “I can’t breathe.”

The officers have been fired, but there are mass protests that are happening around charging the officers with murder and anger over multiple other racial incidents that have happened in the last week across the US: #AmyCooper, #TomAustin, #BreonnaTaylor, #AhmaudArbery etc.

This reminds me of Charlottesville 3 years ago, which I wrote about: HERE. This anger is spilling over because people of color are dying. In America, black men are 2.5 more likely than white men to be killed by police and 1.4 times if you are a black woman compared to a white woman (full study by National Academy of Science).
Can we just pause – that is horrifying! I realize my blog is mainly about fashion and career advice, but what is the point of having a platform if you don’t speak up. Also – if you are more outraged by the protests and riots than murder – than this post is not for you.
