I am finally sharing my home office space with you! This is where I spend 90% of my day working on my consulting practice and my blog business. It was important to me to have a dedicated office space, that was stylish and functional.
I started working from home after 10 years of working in a corporate office. It took me a while to get my work from home situation established and productive.
If you are new to working from home, I recommend investing in core office pieces that would help keep you organized and focused. Make sure to check out my 6 core tips for working from home!
It was important to me to have functional, yet stylish pieces. I order a large large white desk from Wayfair. I added a bright printed rug from Lulu & Georgia and a pink office chair to help give a bit of color to the room.
I found an art deco cabinet on Wayfair as well. It perfect to hold all my files, paperwork and even stores my printer. I have an HP DeskJet printer which is small and compact. I use it primarily for scanning files and printing contracts. With this art deco cabinet, everything is hidden away and helps keeps some of the organizataional chaos to a minimum.
My art deco cabinet also doubles as a great shoe holder for all my high heels. This is also where I display a lot of my jewelry, headbands and hair clips. I am a very visual person and I need to see what I have or I tend to forget about it!
BOOKCASES & ORGANIZATION
I also added organization drawers to my office. I tend to get a lot of PR packages and products sent my way due to the blog. I throw everything into these drawers and it helps keep me organized. I have my makeup section, tool section, pens and office section. They are great for hidding all the clutter.
What do you think of my home office? Do you like my use of space and decor?
I hope this gives you a little office inspiration for your home!
