I have to admit – I feel like such a boss in this purple velvet suit!
I have styled velvet dresses and velvet pants – but this is my first velvet suit and I am LOVING IT! The button details are absolutely beautiful and it’s such a deep, but a vibrant shade of purple. The Holiday Party Season is upon us! I love getting dressed up. I like to err on the side of caution and go more rather than less. I got a few requests to do some Holiday Style looks that were not red or green-focused this year. I thought this was a great idea. Jewel tone shades are a great option for the Holiday if you want to go for a more sophisticated look. I saw this velvet two-piece set at Zara and knew it would be perfect! I love velvet during the winter months as its a warmer fabric and a rich, luxe touch. Unfortunately, my Zara suit has already sold-out but I found quite a few similar options to shop below!

Love the look! Beautiful photos. How would you tone this down to make it office appropriate?
Thank you so much! I would add either a turtleneck or a crew neckline top to make it more work appropriate. Hope that helps! Thanks for the sweet comment!

Why tone it down. Who said it’s not Okay to shine. I would just do a black pump and go. Give them something to talk about. Ijs.
Gorgeous!!!! I need one of these suits in my closet ASAP!!!
I ADORE this outfit for the holidays! My Christmas outfits are always red, green or neutral colors, but you’ve made me want to branch out!

A boss look indeed! Love the suit, and the hue really suits your hair and skin. I’m also a huge fan of jewel colours, especially in the cold months.
