Figuring out what to wear to a formal event like a wedding can be challenging. Every special occasion has those unwritten rules around what is appropriate to wear. When a wedding invitation says “cocktail attire” or “black tie” there are dress codes to adhere too.
My cardinal rule for a wedding is to NEVER wear white. I go into detail in this Wedding post. I tend to wear mainly dresses for cocktail attire, but you can wear jumpsuits and even a suit!
