Asymmetrical Hemline

Asymmetrical Hemline ASOS dress

Happy Friday! This post is all about the asymmetrical trend! The asymmetrical trend gained popularity in 2017 and is still going strong in 2018. This trend can be incorporated into all different looks. I am wearing an asymmetrical hemline with this dress but you can also incorporate this trend into tops and skirts as well. I love the cut of this dress – the asymmetrical hemline gives it a bit sharper design element. It makes a person look twice. The other aspects of this dress that caught my eye were the bell sleeves and high neckline. The best part about this dress is that it’s under $65! I added a pair of white booties that I found on DSW. I have similar white booties but they have a thicker heel (last worn here) but I love the high heel element to this white bootie!

The other asymmetrical cut that is very popular is the one shoulder neckline. I like the one-shoulder cut because it’s more versatile than the off-the-shoulder look that has been so popular. This trend gets mixed reviews as some people don’t like the askew hemline or neckline that comes with the asymmetrical hemline. What do you think? Do you like the asymmetrical hemline?? Tell me below!↓
