6 Fall 2018 Trends That You Should Know

We may be in the full-blown midset of summer but my thoughts are already on Fall and cooler temperatures. I am already looking forward to the time of year where the air gets a little crisp and I can start to wear layers. I love sweater weather and the Fall leaves changing. One of my key trends for Fall is Animal Prints. I got this coat last year at the Nordstrom Sale and its perfect for the animal print trend. I can't wait to play with this trend in my wardrobe. If you are not a fan of all over animal print, try to incorporate it in a cross-body tote or cute flats.

White shoes have been everywhere recently. I invested in a few different pairs of white shoes: white pumps, white boots, and white ankle boots. I wear them nonstop. I love that they class up any outfit. They may be hard to keep clean but this trend is totally worth the investment. I found a few different options to shop for this chic footwear options!

I love Plaid for Fall! It's such a fun print to wear - especially in funky colors. I love plaid as a core print for a Fall coat or when I am channeling Cher from Clueless! I love that this print adds a bit of edge and dimension to your look. But depending on how you incorporate it - it can be quite fun and flirty. How do you feel about plaid in your wardrobe? Do you see yourself wearing this trend for Fall?

Faux Fur is one of my favorite trends for Fall. This trend was all over the runways this season. I love that faux fur has really evolved beyond your typical fur coat and comes in a wide array for colors, prints, and patterns. I love pulling out this Michael Kors Faux Fur coat I scored at the Net-A-Porter sale. Its one of my favorite purchases. I got this over 3 years ago and it always comes in handy for the colder months.

The menswear blazer is a trend that works in and out of the office. I invested in a menswear blazer during the Nordstrom Sale. I love that these structure blazers give you a more polished edge. You can dress them up with trousers or keep it more casual in boyfriend jeans and a white tee. I love taking more masculine pieces and pairing it with a scarf or a dress to give it that added level of femininity. I think this is going to be a staple in my wardrobe moving forward.

Statement coats are still a huge trend for Fall. This pink statement coat was one of my best investments from the Nordstrom Sale last year. Every time I wear this coat, I get stopped and asked about it. Pastel shades like blush pink and lilac are a few of my favorite shades for this trend.  I would recommend focusing on the lilac or purple shades that are quite popular. I am currently seeing a few lilac shade coats on Nordstrom right now. Would you wear this Fall trend?
